Cool! Looks quite "speedy" with the lights of the cars! A little bit as if a fireworks rocket has swooshed through. ;)

This is really cool.

Thanks for the advice on my "water blur" attempt. I had a lot of trouble with those since there were these awful high intensity lights at the mill, just behind where I was in the park. I think they are sodium lights and they threw a hideous yellow cast onto the entire scene. I shot ISO 200 f8 for 6 seconds. I had tried other settings about 50 shots I think and that was about the best I got from the lot. I was a bit disappointed too.

What do you think I should have tried? (If you don't mind my asking.) I really want to get it right.

I didn't have as much time as I would have liked to spend there, I had to pick the kids up from orchestra rehearsal, but it's close to home and I can get back there easily to try again.

I love these shots, Ali. Is there any way you can reveal your secrets? I'd love to know what kind of settings you use when you take these photos. You obviously use a slow shutter speed, yet the picture is not over exposed.

Nicola is right- it does look like some fireworks were flying through the tunnel ^_^

Although its something most of us see every day, you made it look different and exciting even.

You did a great job here- as if thats somethig new... :P

If you were standing right there in the tunnel when you were shooting this, that must have been a rush of excitement! Really nice photo!
