It finally rained in the UAE! This was both good and bad. Good because it will get a good change in the weather (it was getting HOT in here). Bad because it ruined one whole day of photography. I had been planning on this for a long time but the rain had to come and spoil it all.

Anyways, this is what I think my best shot of the day. Most of the other ones were dull and colourless. This was taken just when the sun came out for a bit.

Great shot Ali! These buildings look like gigantic ink-well style pen heads!

They style of the architecture and the colors in the sky make this all look so ominous.

Very nice, the sky and the architecture of the buildings make this photo as if taken from a sci fi movie :)

Neat looking! Good clouds.

The buildings remind me of piano or keyboard keys. Looks like a scene from a movie where the clouds are moving fast & any second lightning will appear. Powerful.

I also love the buttons & the blurry light/moon photos.

Rain may not be the perfect weather for walking around outside with a camera, but there's always something interesting that can be photographed, even in the rain.

Hope you have, in the future, lots of gorgeous sunny days filled with great photo opportunities.

Very modern look. Like you've said before, the UAE never stops improving.

Architecture from your area, middle east? is very good Ali. The designs have much more contrast than the designs in the southern hemisphere. Do the examples of architecture have any relevance to their surroundings? A great image with fantastic lighting and composition.
