IT'S A WOW!!!!
I absolutely love the gull in this shot. The background though seems a little washed out, Too bright maybe?

Yep, it's the bird. The freedom of flying over the water so far from the shores of the city. Don't know about the gull, but I would find it thrilling.
Lovely photograph. This bird has something "unrealistic" (the shutter speed, or the "washed out" background" -as chuck writes- ?). You captured it well.

The expressive captured flight of the bird is extremely good, but deminished a little by the scale of the area around it.

I love this because it shows a single peaceful bird soaring past tons of working people in buildings & busy life. Mabey the subliminal or underlying message is to take some time to relax? Just my thoughts. Awesome photo.
