A cement truck. One of the most unlikely subjects for a panning shot. This was travelling at about 20mph max.

This lookout post is more of a lookout post for visitors to look around at the scenery (unlike this one) than anything, but it looks very authentic.

A palm tree at the beach.

I have been looking at some amazing cat photos lately, like Disso's and mistralcolor's so I decided to post one of my own. And yes, that is a set-top box he's sitting on. Its his favourite sitting spot (maybe because of the heat that comes out of the top!)

This was supposed to be a simple fountain shot, but looking at it later, I was surprised how much symmetry there is in this photo.

B&W photography is addictive! I never thought I would like B&W so much. Its a pity its not a feature on my camera (Nikon D50).

This picture didn't turn out as it was planned to, but I really like the reflection and the parrallel lines.

Fishing boats that have just arrived with their catch to the local fish market. The fishermen have just unloaded their cargo, which you can see in the bottom right corner.

Looks like the Grand Cineplex is losing some of its grandness! This happened when it rained a few days ago. The fire was put out very quickly afterwards with no harm done, but I have no idea what the guard on the right is trying to do.Here is one possible scenario:

Guard 1 - OK, what the hell are you doing?! The firefighters will be here any minute!
Guard 2 - Trust me on this one, I've seen it in movies, this is gonna work......

I really don't know how this got into UAE. Its only found in London as far as I know. You can see this really is UAE by looking at the reflection of a palm tree (never found in England!) on the right. Here it is in its natural habitat.
