I really don't know how this got into UAE. Its only found in London as far as I know. You can see this really is UAE by looking at the reflection of a palm tree (never found in England!) on the right. Here it is in its natural habitat.
The English put some design and style into their phone boothes, unlike our telephone boxes. You are blessed to live in such a beautiful place. Thanks for your comments and keep posting wonderful photos.
My alarm clock this morning was my neighbor's 5 Jack Russell Terriers barking in chorus to the train whistle. LOL.

We have them in the local amusement park. Maybe someone had this put in to remind them of home??
Wow! It's even got the English monarchy's crown and everything. How bizarre! Is it placed outside an English themed cafe or something?
natural habitat, thats pretty funny!
Nice pic!
hmmm I agree with micki, maybe there's an english rich guy living nearby? So he brought it all the way from the UK? :P
This is a commercial street so no people live nearby. The cafe next to it is a TGI Friday's which is American .

I like this photo. As you say though, it does seem out of place.
Great find!! The embossed crown of England's royalty is a great proof as is the palm tree reflection. Thanks for sharing such a unique shot.
